Asia Research Institute (ARI) 
A university-level institute under the National University of Singapore (NUS) with the mission to provide a world-class focus and resource for research on the Asian region, located at one of its communication hubs.


Centre for Research on Islamic and Malay Affairs (RIMA) 
A subsidiary of Association of Malay/Muslim Professionals (AMP) which serves as a concrete vehicle to formalise research on Islam and Malay/Muslim society and provides a more focused and structured approach for efforts to study Islamic and Malay issues.

East Asian Institute
Established to promote academic and policy-oriented research on contemporary China and other East Asia economies.
Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) 
A think-tank dedicated to fostering good governance in Singapore through strategic policy research and discussion.

Institute of South Asian Studies
A think-tank dedicated to the study of contemporary South Asia. It aims to generate knowledge and insights about the region, and to disseminate them in a manner that is useful to policy-makers, the business community, academia and civil society.


Institute of Southeast Asian Studies 
A regional research centre dedicated to the study of socio-political, security and economic trends and developments in Southeast Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic environment.

Middle East Institute
An autonomous research institute within the National University of Singapore (NUS). The Institute conducts research and organises conference, seminars and talks in pursuit of its mission to promote understanding of contemporary Middle East in Singapore.


The S.Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) 
A leading research and graduate teaching institution in strategic and international affairs in the Asia-Pacific region.


Singapore Institute of International Affairs
A non-governmental organization dedicated to the research, analysis and discussion of regional and international issues.


INTERNATIONAL SITES

AMAN
A network of progressive Muslims in Asia, seeking to respond in a small way to the numerous challenges that the people in Asia are facing: elite corruption, materialistic life style, increasing ethnic tension, violence against women and children and environment degradation.


Centre for Islamic Law & Society
A Centre under University of Melbourne which aims to facilitate and support Islam-related research and education projects across the University, particularly those related to contemporary Islamic legal issues.

The Center for the Study of Islam & Democracy (CSID)  
A non-profit organization, based in Washington DC, dedicated to studying Islamic and democratic political thought and merging them into a modern Islamic democratic discourse.


Hartford Institute of Religion Research
An institute which has a 32-year record of rigorous, policy-relevant research, anticipation of emerging issues and commitment to the creative dissemination of learning.


International Institute for the Study of Islam in the Modern World (ISIM)
An institute which conducts and promotes interdisciplinary research on social, political, cultural, and intellectual trends and movements in contemporary Muslim societies and communities.


International Movement for a Just World (JUST)
Founded by Dr Chandra Muzaffar, it is a response to the challenge of harnessing our values and and our knowledge to create a just world.


International Centre for Islam and Pluralism (ICIP)
A centre with the principal goal of building a network of Islamic Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and progressive-moderate Muslim activists and intellectuals, in South-East Asia, and eventually around the globe.

National Bureau of Asian Research
Conducts advanced research on politics and security, economics and trade, and health and societal issues, with emphasis on those of interest to the United States. Drawing upon an extensive network of world's lading specialists and leveraging on the latest technology, NBR bridges the academic business, and policy arenas.


Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies
The Centre is committed to the advancement of academic excellence in teaching, research and publication. Its outreach activities sustain dialogue and promote mutual understanding at national and international levels.


Pew Research Center
A nonpartisan "fact tank" that provides information on the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world.
Qantara
An Internet portal which represents the concerted effort of the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (Federal Center for Political Education) Deutsche Welle, the Goethe Institut and the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Relations) to promote dialogue with the Islamic world.

ISEAS Library
A unique de facto regional library and information centre. It houses more than a half a million items of comprehensive collections of research materials on the applied social sciences dating mostly from the nineteenth century with emphases on Southeast Asia

Provides a wide collection of information and resources. Allows searching for multiple data sources together and provides links to full text documents.
